ESU Bx - Canadian evening

On May 2nd, at le Musée d'Aquitaine, Steven Trudeau and Florence Cartigny gave two
entertaining
talks on Québec and Western Canada.

The audience learnt lots on the history and politics of Canada.

It also gave us the opportunity to learn more about Quebec separatism and some typical French words. We were even lucky enough to try a typical cake from Quebec! Steven's talk was very lively, which made it all the more interesting!

Western Canada was described with great details by Florence Cartigny. Thanks to her talk, we could learn lots on the geography, the culture, the economy and the politics of that region!

Discussions then followed over a French dinner at l'Antre de Peggy (located rue de la Devise)!

Thanks a lot for this great evening!
